Ballantine’s StayTrue Nights – Photo Op

Once again, Ballantine’s teamed up with Quarso to be in charge of the visual experience for it’s #StayTrue Nights around the major cities in Mexico. This time, the objective was to create a visual structure that would invite the #StayTrue attendees to take a picture of it, a selfie with it or just dance around it.

The Structure became the official banner for the parties around Mexico City and Guadalajara.

The initial request was to build a unique structure that was visually impressive and that was video mapped but did not interfere with the attendees if they wanted to get close to it.

The solution was to build an aluminum based structure with the shape of two upside pyramids that could easily be transported and mounted in the different locations of the parties. In order to avoid projection interference with the attendees, the structure was projected from behind with two ultra-short throw projectors, each one in charge of projecting one of the pyramids. The structure only took 130 cm of depth to be mounted and projected.
